About Me

Virginia Avery: British Columbia, Canada; I am a Grade 7 Middle School teacher taking a leave for the 2016-17 school year, along with my husband, Barry, and our two daughters, Grace, age 13 and Lily, age 10. All four of us will be taking a break from bells and traditional classrooms for the next ten months. We are making our way to our autumn base of Antibes, France.
